Barrams Road Extension involved the construction of a new sub-arterial road connecting the Providence, South Ripley community to Sandstone Boulevard. The new 1km extension opens up a secondary road access to the Providence community as well as providing better connectivity to surrounding employment and community hubs. The road falls within the Greater Ripley Priority Development Area and was jointly funded by Stockland Development and Economic Development Queensland.

Project Scope

Construction of a 1km sub-arterial road extension between Providence, South Ripley and Sandstone Blvd, White Rock.

  • 140,000m3 of earthworks
  • Construction of 2 x major culvert crossings
  • Construction of 2,000m of new stormwater drainage infrastructure
  • Construction of 1,400m of new truck watermain infrastructure
  • Construction of 21,000m2 of new pavement
