SEE Civil is pleased to announce a three-year sponsorship of the Mooloolaba Surf Life Saving Club (SLSC), strengthening its connection with the Sunshine Coast community while delivering the landmark Mooloolaba Foreshore Revitalisation Project.

For more than 100 years, Mooloolaba SLSC has been at the heart of the Sunshine Coast community—keeping beachgoers safe, building resilience, and fostering the teamwork and spirit that surf lifesaving is known for. Through this sponsorship, SEE Civil will contribute to the Club’s lifesaving services and community programs, ensuring continued support for an organisation that protects and serves locals and visitors alike.

We are proud to stand alongside Mooloolaba Surf Life Saving Club—an organisation that embodies safety, resilience and community spirit,” said Peta Newton, Executive Director Corporate Services, SEE Group. “As we deliver Stage Two of the foreshore revitalisation with Sunshine Coast Council, this partnership reflects our shared vision of building strong, connected and resilient communities.

Mooloolaba SLSC President, Trent Robinson, welcomed the partnership, saying it will help the Club continue its mission of saving lives and serving the local community.

Surf lifesaving is built on community support, and this partnership with SEE Civil gives us a strong foundation for the years ahead,” said Mr Robinson. “As Mooloolaba undergoes this exciting transformation, we’re proud to stand alongside SEE Civil in keeping our beaches safe and creating a foreshore the whole community can enjoy.

Foreshore revitalisation underway

SEE Civil is currently delivering Stage Two of the Mooloolaba Foreshore Revitalisation Project in partnership with Sunshine Coast Council.

This stage will deliver a new central community meeting place, upgraded beachfront parklands, landscaped gathering spaces, a widened coastal pathway, modern amenities, and a terraced seawall that doubles as seating and coastal protection.

Backed by more than $13 million in government funding, the project is designed to protect Mooloolaba’s foreshore while creating vibrant and inclusive spaces for the community to enjoy for generations to come.

Our work at Mooloolaba is about more than seawalls and pathways,” said Mrs Newton. “It’s about creating places where the community can connect, while also supporting the lifesavers who keep our beaches safe. Together, these initiatives will have a lasting impact on Mooloolaba.
