Peta Newton

Executive Director - Corporate Services

Peta has more than 19 years’ experience in the construction industry working across a diverse range of roles within SEE Group’s operations. As second-generation to the founder of SEE Group, Peta has developed a deep understanding of the business, and its values through hands-on experience across multiple areas of the organisation.

Peta was appointed to her current role as Executive Director of Corporate Services in 2021, following her appointment as Executive Director of People & Compliance in 2019 and several successful years as the Group’s People and Culture Manager. She holds a Bachelor of Laws, bringing a strong legal and governance perspective to her executive leadership responsibilities.

In her current role, Peta is responsible for the strategic leadership and direction of several of the Group’s shared services functions, including People & Culture, Workplace Health and Safety, Integrated Management Systems, Legal, Commercial, Marketing and Information Technology. She plays a key role in aligning these functions with SEE Group’s broader business objectives, ensuring effective governance, operational excellence, risk management and sustainable growth across the organisation.

Peta is dedicated to fostering a high-performing and inclusive culture, leading organisational and cultural transformation initiatives, and enhancing the employee experience across SEE Group’s businesses. She is passionate about building strong teams, driving innovation and creating an environment where people and business performance can thrive.
