Extremely hard sandstone ground conditions have meant that any construction below the natural surface has needed alternate construction methods including blasting, trenching, and profiling.

The project has so far delivered 1,138 affordable housing sites in the growing Flagstone community. Whilst another 214 housing sites are under construction.
Trunk sewerage infrastructure has been installed, joining the existing network system to service Flagstone, Greenbank, and Cedar Grove.
Collaboration with both the client and Logan Water to facilitate works and safe access through a live construction site led to the best project outcomes and carried success for further packages of work.
Works were undertaken to facilitate the opening of Flagstone Trades College, which provides training and skill development for people in the construction industry, leaving a positive economic and socioeconomic legacy for the region long after construction program completion.
