[PROJECTS]
In February 2022, a severe weather event moved its way from South East Queensland (SEQ) into Northern New South Wales (NNSW). The devastation it caused in both SEQ and Northern NSW was unfathomable.
SEE Civil promptly contacted Tweed Shire Council in the aftermath of the event, and within two days of meeting and discussing requirements, SEE Civil had mobilised over fifty (50) items of plant and workforce to assist with initial clean-up efforts.
Within another two days, a further one hundred (100) items of plant and workforce were mobilised bringing the total number to approximately one hundred and fifty (150).
This equipment and workforce were organized into up to ten crews, each working up to seven days a week and twelve hours a day, with the entire operation coordinated from SEE Civil’s Chinderah depot.
Following the outstanding efforts by the SEE Civil team, Tweed Shire Council reached out and asked for our assistance in repairing the local roads and making them safe for motorists and road users.
In response SEE Civil was engaged by Tweed Shire Council as part of a collaborative Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) phase to design remediation options for eight (8) major landslips located throughout Tweed Shire.
