At SEE, family has always been more than a value. It’s part of our story, our culture and the foundation of our success. SEE Day Out brings that connection to life.
On Saturday 5 September 2026, employees and their loved ones came together at Distillery Road Market for the first-ever SEE Day Out, celebrating the connections, support networks and sense of community that sit at the heart of SEE.
Formerly known as the SEE Carnival, the event has evolved to better reflect its purpose: bringing together the wider SEE community and recognising the people who support our teams both on and off the job.
Children, grandchildren, grandparents, parents and partners joined employees for a day of connection and fun. Families had the opportunity to explore SEE machinery, learn more about the work their loved ones do and spend time together. With mini golf, pool tables, a toddler play area, a cinema screen, photo booth and plenty of food on offer, there was something for everyone to enjoy.
Executive Director Corporate Services, Peta Newton, said the event reflects the family values that continue to shape the business today.

While the attractions and entertainment created plenty of memorable moments, the true purpose of the day was celebrating the wider community behind SEE’s success.
As a second-generation family company, maintaining a family-oriented culture remains a priority. Events like the SEE Day Out help strengthen connections, foster a sense of belonging and recognise the families and loved ones who are part of the SEE journey.
